Parents' info & privacy
Max started this so kids could swap cars safely. Here's exactly how it works.
Who can sign up
- Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18+ can create an account, using a verified email address.
- You then add driver profiles for your children. Each has only a nickname and a cartoon car avatar.
What we collect (and what we don't)
- Parent: email, optional first name, and a postal address used only for posting completed trades.
- Child: a nickname and avatar choice. No real names, birthdays, schools, photos of children or location.
- We do not track location, show ads, profile children, sell data, or use follower counts, streaks or other nudges to keep scrolling.
High privacy by default
- Kids cannot type free messages – offers are built from pre-approved phrases only.
- Postal addresses are only revealed to the other parent after BOTH parents approve a trade. Children never see addresses.
- Every photo and listing is checked by a moderator before anyone else can see it. Hidden photo data (like GPS location) is removed when photos are uploaded.
You're in control
- See every listing, offer and message from your parent dashboard.
- Approve or deny each trade, set a monthly cash limit, and pause a child's profile or your whole account at any time.
- Cash is paid by you at approval, held by the platform, and only released when the car arrives.
Our approach to the Children's Code
- We follow the UK ICO Age Appropriate Design Code: best interests of the child, data minimisation, high-privacy defaults, no nudge techniques, parental controls and no geolocation.
